CIEd doctoral student Manuela Castro moderated the presentation session for Francisco Louçã’s book “Imaginação: cores, deuses, viagens e amores” (Imagination: colors, gods, travels, and loves).

PhD student Manuela Castro moderated the presentation of Francisco Louçã’s book “Imaginação: cores, deuses, viagens e amores” (Imagination: colors, gods, travels, and loves) on December 13 at the Martins Sarmento Society in Guimarães.

Her intervention sought to emphasize the centrality of the faculty of imagination as a constitutive condition of the processes of humanization and social organization, particularly in a historical context marked by the emergence of new socio-technical imaginaries that are progressively straining and eroding the democratic socio-political imaginary inherited from Modernity.
