António José Osório taught biology and geology in primary and secondary schools and, as a collaborator in the MINERVA Project, he took part, under the guidance of Professor Altamiro Machado, in research and development activities as part of the Lethes / Peneda-Gerês Project, making a telematic network available to schools in the villages of Portugal’s only National Park.
He completed his doctoral studies focusing on educational telematics at the University of Exeter in the UK, supervised by Professors Niki Davis and Martin Hughes. He then completed a degree in Educational Sciences, specializing in Educational Technology, at the University of Minho.
She has teaching experience in the initial and ongoing training of educators and teachers and research experience in educational telematics, as well as coordinating various national and international research projects in the area of Educational Technology or Information and Communication Technologies in Education. She also supervises master’s courses and several master’s and doctoral projects in these areas of understanding the challenges posed by emerging technologies in educational processes, especially for children.
