The DICSO research group, Didactics of the Social Sciences, is a research group at the University of Murcia, made up of a large group of more than forty university professors. Created around 1996, since 2009 the group’s principal investigator has been Professor Pedro Miralles and currently the principal investigators are Professor Cosme Gómez and Professor Raquel Sánchez. With a relatively young average age, half of its members are former researchers with long pre- and post-doctoral careers who have now become university professors. The remaining members are teachers with extensive experience in early childhood, primary, secondary and adult education. In this way, the group is in permanent contact with the reality of the classroom.
