On March 1, Thales Cavalcanti e Castro took his PhD exams in Educational Sciences, specializing in Educational Technology, with CIEd researcher José Alberto Lencastre Freitas Borges de Araújo and Ana Paula Loução Martins as his supervisors.
With the thesis “Gamification in the Education of Students at Risk of Specific Learning Difficulties in Reading”, he was awarded the mention of “Good with Distinction”.
This conference, held as part of the Greenlight Project, was given by Rita Sousa, Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Management, and Political Science at the University of Minho, where she is also Vice President for Sustainability and Pedagogical Issues.
