On October 24, the ceremony for the UMinho Award for Initiation into Scientific Research 2025 took place.
Armando Ribeiro, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Education, was one of the winners in the Social and Human Sciences panel with the project “The influence of sociocultural origin on career resources and perceived employability of university students,” under the guidance of CIEd researchers Sílvia Monteiro, Leonor Torres, and Sandra Santos.
Camila Vieira Hilleshein, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Education, also participated in this ceremony, presenting the work “What feedback is given to schools about their self-assessment processes within the scope of the External School Assessment (AEE) system?”, under the guidance of CIEd researcher Joana Sousa.
The Center for Research in Education congratulates Armando Ribeiro and Camila Vieira Hilleshein for the high quality of their work, as well as the CIEd researchers responsible for supervising and guiding these research projects. We hope that this experience will be the beginning of a long and successful career in educational science research for these students.
