Between the end of December 2024 and the beginning of January 2025, CIEd Researcher Rosanna Barros carried out a Working Mission to India and Sri Lanka, as a result of work she had previously carried out as part of her membership of the ASEM LLL Hub Network and which led to the inauguration of the ASEM Regional Centre for South Asia, which took place on January 6, 2025 in the city of Cochi, India.
In addition, the CIEd researcher also took part in the International Conference on Lifelong Learning for a Sustainable Future: Environment. Economy. Society (Org. ASEM LLL Hub & Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Cochi. India).
This mission also included participation as a member of the ‘International Experts Working Group’ writing: The South Asia Declaration on Lifelong Learning: Lifelong Learning for a Sustainable Future. Environment. Economy. Society [with the auspices of the ASEM Education and Research Hub for Lifelong Learning].
On January 8, the Living Smart Schools Online Meeting#1 took place, focusing on the Living Smart Schools (LSS) project: Well-being and resilience of principals and teachers for an inclusive multicultural Education in Europe (Project: 101249336 — ERASMUS-EDU-2025-PEX-TEACH-ACA).
