On July 9, CIEd researchers Leonor Torres and José Augusto Palhares participated in the XIII Portuguese Congress of Sociology – Democracies under scrutiny: Risks and uncertainties, in the Azores, where they presented the following papers:
– Leonor Torres, José Palhares, and Pedro Abrantes, Democratization and school inclusion: spaces and contexts for student participation in school organizations in Portugal;
– José Palhares, Leonor Torres, and Pedro Abrantes, Continuities, recompositions, and new appropriations of Portuguese sociology of education.
The CIEd researcher gave the closing lecture and taught a mini-course entitled Dialogues with Rousseau: authors and ideas, on June 25, 26, and 27.
