CIEd has submitted 2 applications to the Erasmus+ Teacher Academies 2025 competition:
– Living Smart Schools: Well-being and resilience of principals and teachers for an inclusive multicultural Education in Europe’ research project, with UMinho as the coordinating institution, in partnership with INOVA+, Agrupamento de Escolas José Estêvão, Shannon University of Technology: Midlands Midwest (Ireland), Sveuciliste u Splitu University and Žnjan-Pazdigrad School (Croatia), and the University of Santiago de Compostela and La Grande Obra de Atocha Private Plurilingual Centre (Spain). The UMinho team is made up of CIEd researchers Leonor Torres (Principal Investigator), José Augusto Palhares, José António Brandão Carvalho, Maria João Gomes and Joana Sousa.
– Research project ‘Teachers as Agents for the Sustainable Common Future of Europe’, with the University of Leipzig as the lead institution (Coord. Jonas Flöter & Makhabbat Kenzhegaliyeva), in partnership with the University of Minho and Vila Verde Secondary School, the University of Sofia and Khan Krum Primary School (Bulgaria), Vilnius University and Vilniaus Simono Staneviciaus vidurine mokykla – Vilnius Simonas Stanevicius Progymnasium (Lithuania), and Zentrum für Lehrer: innenbildung und Schulforschung, Sächsischer Lehrerverband and Anton-Philipp-Reclam-Schule (Germany).
This conference, held as part of the Greenlight Project, was given by Rita Sousa, Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Management, and Political Science at the University of Minho, where she is also Vice President for Sustainability and Pedagogical Issues.
