In November, CIEd welcomed six visiting researchers:
– Ângela Martins, Professor of the Postgraduate Programme at the City of São Paulo University Leader of the Education Management and Evaluation Research Group (CNPq) and General Coordinator of the International Research Network on Educational Management (REIPEGE), who, from November 2 until the end of January, will be on a mission, with a Research Abroad Grant (PBE) funded by the São Paulo State Research Support Foundation/FAPESP, implementing the study ‘The constitution of stigmas in the school space: potentially conflictive situations in the contemporary context’. in an inter-institutional partnership with host researcher Fernanda Martins;
– Germânia Kelly Ferreira de Medeiros, Professor of Basic Education at the Ceará Department of Education, who gave the Visiting Lecture ‘Continuing Teacher Training – Partnership between the Fortaleza Municipal Department of Education and the Public University’;
– Eloísa Vidal, Associate Professor of the Postgraduate Programme in Education at the State University of Ceará, who gave the Visiting Lecture ‘Educational Policies and Schools: a research agenda’;
– Sofia Lerche Vieira, Emeritus Professor at the State University of Ceará, who gave the Visiting Lecture ‘Educational Policies and Schools: a research agenda’;
– Antônio Carlos dos Santos, Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the Philosophy Department of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), who gave the Visiting Lecture ‘The relevance of John Locke: the problem of slavery’;
– Maria José da Silva Fernandes, from São Paulo State University, who gave the Visiting Lecture ‘The situation of the public education network in the state of São Paulo-Brazil: three decades of managerialism and hyper-bureaucratisation’.
Maria José da Silva Fernandes, from São Paulo State University, is attending the Postdoctoral Program in Education Sciences, specializing in School Organization and Administration.
