The 5th International Colloquium on the Social Sciences of Education will be held from February 1 to 3, 2024, at the Institute of Education at the University of Minho.

50 years of education in a democracy is a very important milestone in Portugal’s political, social and educational history (although it has wider consequences internationally). This relevance will certainly be the subject of multiple celebrations across the country (and beyond), and this Colloquium will be part of that celebratory movement as a moment of deep reflection on the road traveled and to be traveled in the field of education.
