The International Symposium on Adult Education: Educating for the Practice of Freedom will take place on March 25, 26, and 27.
Over the course of three days, there will be daily lectures from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Portugal) and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Brazil):
– “Theoretical Foundations of Liberating Education,” with presentations by Prof. Afonso Scocuglia (Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil) and Prof. Armando Loureiro (University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Portugal), moderated by Prof. Antonio Gomes da Silva.
– “Dialogical Methodologies and Pedagogical Practices,” with contributions from Prof. Ms. Cristiana Montes (Abelheira Elementary School, Portugal) and Prof. Dr. Antonio Gomes da Silva (Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil), moderated by Prof. Dr. José António Martin Afonso.
– “Contemporary Challenges and Future Perspectives,” with contributions from Prof. José António Martin Afonso (University of Minho, Portugal) and Prof. Luiz Gonzaga Gonçalves (Federal University of Paraíba, Brazil), moderated by Prof. Custódia Martins.
