The Board of the Northern Teachers’ Union (SPN), at its General Members’ Meeting held on April 9, awarded CIEd researcher Licínio Lima honorary membership of the union.

This award stems from his work in the field of the Social Sciences of Education and Teacher Training, as well as his collaboration with the SPN and Página da Educação. The Union’s Board also recognizes his contribution to the SPN and FENPROF’s union reflection on a wide range of issues relevant to the teaching profession, such as the organization of the education system, democratic school management and adult education, in defence of quality public education for all.
