The History Teachers’ Association, abbreviated to A.P.H., is a nationwide association of teachers linked to the teaching of History, with legal personality and non-profit status.

The APH’s objectives are to promote the continuous training of teachers in the scientific and pedagogical-didactic fields, to contribute to the opening up of new fields of experience and innovation in the teaching of History, to develop research/action projects in the field of History Education, to encourage Heritage Education, to take an active part in the debate on Education through the contribution of History, to provide contacts and exchanges of experiences between teachers and other agents linked to the teaching of History and to establish a network of relations with other national and foreign associations and organisations linked to the teaching of History.
