Description

Challenges – 13th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies in Education will be held on May 9 and 10, 2024, to mark the 25th anniversary of Challenges. After analyzing the challenges of Artificial Intelligence in 2019 and reflecting on the challenges of digital in the midst of the pandemic crisis (2021), Challenges 25 years will focus on “OnLife Spaces and Paths”.

Challenges is a conference that, since 1999, has promoted the exchange of experiences and knowledge on the various aspects involved in the integration of Information and Communication Technologies in Education, bringing together teachers and researchers interested in the training and educational process from all sectors. Through its various biannual editions, Challenges has provided an exchange of ideas and approaches on all aspects of ICT in Education. In 2015, there was already the opportunity to review half a century of ICT in Portugal and, a decade ago, in 2013, learning anytime, anywhere; Challenges has also looked at (in)formal learning on the social web (2009) and analyzed innovation perspectives (2011), always promoting study and reflection on the state of the art as well as outlining and proposing perspectives and future directions, ensuring the sharing and dissemination of ideas, processes, resources and tools with the potential to improve learning and education.
